2. Each unit easily sleeps four adults, comfortably. Up to six if including children.
3. Yes, the river is just steps away from your front door.
4. No, we don't have our own boats for rent anymore. Boat rentals are available right next door at Magic Manatee Marina.
5. Nope, no swimming pool on site. Swimming in the fresh waters at the spring source of the river is the most refreshing swimming experience you'll ever have!
6. Yes, you can both swim and fish right off the dock. Manatees often swim right past the dock also. But, you'll enjoy going upriver to the springs to swim, and fishing is popular in many areas of the river, and also out in the Gulf.
7. Our boat launch ramp will accommodate boats up to 22 feet long. This would include pontoons, skiffs, and bayboats; larger boats and deep vees can go up to Riverhaven Marina to put in and take out.
8. No, the boat launch ramp is reserved for use of The Last Resort guests -- unless they're providing the boat for a guest, like fishing guides, or boat rentals.
9. The spring source (swimming hole) is about one mile upriver.
10. The Gulf of Mexico waters are about five miles downriver.
11. Check-in 3:00 PM, Check-out 11:00 AM.
12. If you need to check in after 5:00 p.m., please call us and let us know. We will make arrangements for this.
13. Yes, we can provide extra copies of unit keys, but please let us know in advance if you will need more than one key.
14. You can put your boat in early and come back to check in later; or you can leave your boat in for a while after you check out, so long as there's room for the next guests.
15. Daily cleaning services are not provided, but there are cleaning supplies in the closet and you are welcome to use the laundry facilities
16. Hair dryers are not provided in the units.
17. Monkey Island is about 1/4 mile downriver, you can just see it from our riverfront.
